  • Profile: Our company began to cooperate with some colleges, universities and research institutes in 1960s. We have developed many varieties of molecular sieves, including A-type, X-type and Y-type, which are widely applied to air separation, metallurgy, insulating glass, integrated petrochemical industry, fertilizer and refrigerating industry. Our silica gels include laciness one and coarser mesh one. The former is used as drying agent and adsorbent in a wide range of fields, and the latter is used as catalyst and catalyst carrier. Our sodium silicates include liquid one, powder one and lump one, applied to soap-making, welding, cleaning and paper box. They are also used as adjuvant of cement and quick drying agent in large scale projects. During the last four decades, we constantly improve our technology. Enjoying technical advantage and good reputation both at home and abroad, our molecular sieve KSN-13X specially for air separation has won "Prize for Advancement in Science and Technology" awarded by the Ministry of Chemical Industry, and has been named as the supported product for imported equipment of General Company of Petrochemical Industry. Molecular sieve 4A-Wt has been named as the supported product for the Department of Aviation and Aerospace. Coarse mesh microsphere silica gel has been assessed as high quality product by the Ministry of Chemical Industry. Sodium silicate has been evaluated as the high-quality products of Jiangsu Province for several years consecutively. In recent years, we have always been trying to make innovations in technology in order to satisfy users' need. In 1996, our factory developed molecular sieve special for making hydrogen with pressure swing adsorption which has already been applied to the large scale pressure swing adsorption equipment by many petrochemical enterprises like Maoming, Qilu and Kelamayi. Last year, over 100 metric tons of this kind of adsorbent were exported abroad, applied to large scale pressure swing adsorption equipment of Khartoum Oil Refinery jointly established by China and Sudan. At present, with its guaranteed high quality and competitive price, this adsorbent special for making hydrogen has become one of the favorites of most factories. Our R&D Center is Nanjing University's Center of Research on Surface and Interface Chemical Engineering and Technology. Moreover, our factory has developed molecular sieve for PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) oxygen processing and dewaxing molecular sieve A. macropore silica gel. They are tending to be applied to large scale equipment, filling the gap in its field in China.
