With the purchase of the exclusive manufacturing and distributing right of Penshibao (?PSB?) foliar fertilizer, from the Ministry of Agriculture in 1987, the Factory was renamed Penshibao Development Company. In October 1995, the Company moved to Beihai, a coastal city in the most southern part of Guangxi Province and changed its name as Guangxi Penshibao Group Company. In January, the Company re-registered by its present name as Guangxi Beihai Penshibao Co., Ltd. Today, the Company employs over 300 people with a yearly output worth over USD 5 million. The Company is engaged in the production and distribution of a series foliar fertilizers as well as pesticides, herbicides, root-growth promoters and feed additives. Now the Company has a product range consisting of over 20 different types of foliar fertilizers, more types of pesticides and root-growth promoters to meet the farmers? earnest demand. PSB has received numerous awards from governmental agencies, domestic/international organizations and other 3rd parties, Domestically the most representative award received was the Name Brand of China from China?s Association of Consumer Protection and National Bureau of technical Supervision, which prizes products on their superior quality and industry dominance. Internationally, the Company?s PSB series of fertilizers has received a Gold Medal Award from the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions in 1993. In addition, the Company will obtain the Verification of ISO9000 and ISO14000 in May,2006 to replace the old version ISO9002 in 1999.
