With the total investment of RMB 0.1 billion, Lechang Zirconium Chemicals Plant was founded in 2001 and put into production in 2003. In the first phase, we plan to produce 25,000t zirconium oxychloride and consume 16,000t zircon sand per year. Both the production scale and production capacity are listed within the first three in the country. When the second phase is completed, yearly production capacity for zirconium oxychloride will reach 40,000－50,000t and the year consumption capacity for zircon sand will reach 30,000t. It will be one of the largest manufacturers in China for zirconium oxychloride. With the increasing production capacity of zirconium oxychloride, Lechang Zirconium Chemicals Plant planes to develop well-sold zirconium products such as zirconium carbonate, zirconium sulphate and zirconium oxyhydrate etc.. Within three years, we will have formed a production pattern of 15 to 18 zirconium products, realizing the production capacity growing in pace with profits. "SUNGOD" trademark is used in products of Lechang Zirconium Chemicals Plant.
