(FOCtek) was established on Nov. 18, 2002, which is a joint venture company integrating manufacturing and marketing with designing of optical and crystal components. FOCtek consists of a skill team, with abilities from management, sales, marketing, and engineering to quality control, which has ever worked in the optic industry for almost ten years. We have three main product lines; including optical components, crystal components and micro optic products. The optical components include optical windows, pentaprisms, right angle prisms, roof prisms, dove prisms, corner cubes (retro reflectors), Glan Taylor polarizers, Glan laser polarizers, Glan Thompson polarizers, Wollaston polarizers, Rochon polarizers, quartz waveplates, polarization rotators, beamsplitters, polarization beam splitter cubes, spherical lenses, cylindrical lenses and filters. All the optical components are made of high quality grade A optical glass or high purity laser grade crystals. The crystal products include BBO and KTP non-linear crystals, Nd:YVO4, Nd:YAG and Ti:Sapphire laser crystals. The micro optic products include C-lenses, micro prisms, micro waveplates, YVO4 beam displacers, micro PBS, and Birefringent wedges, which are all applications for the fiber optical components. Our products are widely used in semiconductors, electronics, precision instruments, survey equipment, medical equipment, laser industries, optic industries, and optical telecommunication industries. FOCtek's workshop covers over 2,700sqm area, with advantages of complete kits of production lines as crystal growth, crystal fabrication, crystal coating, optical fabrication, and optical coating. Our annual output of crystals reaches up 200,000 pieces. Yearly output of optic products reaches up to 2,000,000 pieces. Our quality products are exported to North America, Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia. FOCtek possesses advanced production and inspection facilities such as crystal growth machines, double side grinding machines, high speed polishing machines and coating machines. We have the most advanced highly accurate optical measurement systems, which are introduced in from Germany, USA and Taiwan Area. For examples, we have German trioptic, spherical measurement system, trioptic PrismMaster highly accurate prism measurement system, Taiwanese AK-40 interferometer, Lambda 900 spectrophotometer, American Agilent wavelength measurement system, and undo optical spectrum analyzing instrument. Equipped with advanced facilities and with a modernized management system (ERP), we were ISO9001 certified by SGS at the beginning of 2004. FOCtek is keeping itself enterprising and developing. We cooperate with such local universities and research centers as Fujian Normal University, Fuzhou University and Fujian Optical research Institute. The cooperation enhances our strong R&D techniques. Our "broadband DUV polarizer" was Chinese Invention Patent certified and also supported by domestic government as the "National Innovation Project". We are cooperating with Fuzhou University on advanced optical polishing technique, which will improve efficiency of fabrication and surface quality of optics.
